Dr. Akhil MJ

Mr. Akhil MJ is a MOH/DHA-licensed senior physiotherapist with over 12 years of clinical experience in evidence-based rehabilitation. He leads the physiotherapy department at Burjeel Hospital, Sharjah, where he combines direct patient care with departmental oversight in a multidisciplinary setting. He holds a Master's degree in Physiotherapy (Orthopedic & Sports focus) from NITTE University, India, and has completed specialized training in medical acupuncture, dry needling, cupping therapy, manual therapy, and advanced rehabilitation techniques.

Mr. Akhil treats a wide range of musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions—from sports injuries and chronic back, neck, and knee pain to post-surgical recovery and neurological rehabilitation. He combines hands-on manual therapy, mobilization and manipulation techniques, therapeutic exercise programs, electrotherapy, dry needling, and myofascial release.
