Dr. Huda Abdulkader

Dr. Huda Abdulkader is a Specialist Paediatrician at Medcare Medical Centre (Al Zahia), Sharjah, with over 25 years of clinical experience. She trained in the UK after graduating from Sebha University, Libya, where she completed an MPhil at Edinburgh University and earned her Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH). Her career spans general paediatrics, neonatology, paediatric oncology, nephrology, and neurology, with particular depth in neurodisability and community child health across multiple UK teaching hospitals.

Dr. Abdulkader's main clinical interests centre on assessing and managing children with neurodisability and developmental delay—including ADHD, cerebral palsy, and autism spectrum disorder—as well as feeding difficulties, growth and nutrition concerns, and respiratory conditions such as asthma and bronchiolitis. She is also experienced in managing gastrointestinal and kidney diseases, urinary tract infections, and newborn infant growth and development assessment. She works closely with families, providing education on breastfeeding, nutrition, immunisation and broader child health support.

She is an active educator, regularly training junior doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals. Dr. Abdulkader is committed to evidence-based medicine and has published research in peer-reviewed journals and presented at academic meetings across Europe, including the European Society of Paediatric Research.
