Dr. Naghma Nawaz

Dr. Naghma Nawaz is a Staff Physician in the Diagnostic Radiology & Imaging Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Diagnostics Institute. She trained in radiology in Ireland and the UK, completing her medical degree at Army Medical College in Pakistan and specialist training at St. James's Hospital in Dublin under the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Before joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, she spent twelve years as a Consultant Breast Radiologist at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, where she held several leadership positions including Deputy Chair of Radiology (2008–2016) and Program Director of the Radiology Residency Program (2011–2015).

Dr. Nawaz specializes in breast imaging and cross-sectional radiology (CT and MRI scans). She is experienced in mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and image-guided breast biopsies for diagnosis and assessment. Her training in advanced imaging techniques and breast health has equipped her to evaluate complex breast conditions and support the hospital's breast cancer program.

With nearly three decades of clinical experience and a track record of teaching and mentoring radiologists, Dr. Nawaz is a good fit for patients needing expert breast imaging assessment, follow-up imaging after cancer treatment, or complex diagnostic imaging interpretation.
