Dr. Yasser Butt

Dr. Yasser Butt is a consultant anaesthesiologist at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi, with over two decades of experience in anaesthesia and perioperative care. He trained in the UK and held senior positions at leading hospitals including Croydon University Hospital and King Fahad Medical City in Saudi Arabia, where he was head of obstetric anaesthesia and chairman of the anaesthesia department.

Dr. Butt specializes in obstetric anaesthesia—including complex cases such as abnormal placentation and EXIT procedures—regional anaesthesia techniques, and anaesthesia for cancer surgery. He also provides anaesthetic care for paediatric procedures (ear, nose, throat and eye surgery), urological and general laparoscopic and robotic procedures. His approach combines advanced training with expertise in managing high-risk patients across multiple surgical specialties.

He is well suited for patients requiring specialist anaesthetic care during complex or high-risk surgery, particularly those undergoing obstetric procedures, cancer operations or minimally invasive surgery.
