Dr. Unmesh R.Edke

Dr. Unmesh R. Edke is an Associate Staff Physician in the Critical Care Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Integrated Hospital Care Institute. He completed his medical degree from the University of Pune, India in 1991, followed by residency training in Anaesthesia. He brings 34 years of clinical experience, including 18 years as a Specialist in Critical Care Medicine at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Abu Dhabi, and advanced fellowship training in Critical Care with a focus on trauma and neuro-critical care from the University of Toronto, Canada.

Dr. Edke specializes in managing critically ill patients using advanced techniques including mechanical ventilation, neuro-critical care, and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). His clinical expertise spans intensive care medicine and the treatment of conditions such as sepsis. He has presented research at numerous international critical care conferences and conducted extensive research under the mentorship of Prof. Laurent Brochard at St. Michael's Hospital, University of Toronto.
