Dr. Ola Mazboudi

Dr. Ola Mazboudi is a pulmonary consultant with over 10 years of clinical and academic experience. She completed her specialization in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the American University of Beirut Medical Center in 2010, then worked at Hammoud Hospital Medical Center, one of Lebanon's largest referral hospitals. There, she held multiple leadership roles: Director of the Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship Program (2011), Director of the Bronchoscopy Unit (2011), and Head of the Intensive Care Unit (2014). During the COVID-19 pandemic, she led the ICU response as Director of the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit and Ward.

Dr. Mazboudi treats a wide range of lung and respiratory conditions, including asthma, COPD, emphysema, chronic cough, bronchiectasis, lung cancer, lung fibrosis, pleural disease, and sleep apnea. She performs diagnostic and therapeutic flexible bronchoscopy and is skilled in non-invasive ventilation support such as BIPAP and CPAP. She also specializes in pulmonary function testing and has particular expertise in post-COVID respiratory syndrome.

Since 2018, she has held the position of Clinical Assistant Professor at Beirut Arab University Faculty of Medicine, teaching medical students. She is also recognized as an expert in organ and tissue donation, serving as a Regional Coordinator for the Lebanese National Organization for Organ and Tissue Donation and Transplant since 2013, with certification from the University of Barcelona.
