Dr. Francesca Cainelli

Dr. Francesca Cainelli is an infectious diseases specialist with over 27 years of clinical and academic experience. She trained at the University of Verona in Italy, where she graduated with honors in both her MD and infectious diseases specialization. Her career has spanned Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, including roles as Associate Professor at Nazarbayev University School of Medicine and Senior Lecturer at the University of Botswana's Faculty of Medicine (2009–2015), where she also served as Head of Department at Princess Marina National Referral Hospital. She currently practices at Emirates Hospitals Group in Dubai.

Dr. Cainelli's clinical focus centers on viral hepatitis (A, B, C), HIV infection, and rare infectious diseases.
