Dr. Maha Al Bassam

Dr. Maha Al Bassam is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at Mediclinic Dubai with over 25 years of experience in women's health. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (UK) and graduated from Baghdad University before building a long career in obstetrics and gynaecology. She previously served as Consultant and Chief of the Obstetrics division at Tawam Hospital in Al Ain from 2005 onwards, bringing extensive expertise in both routine and complex maternity care.

Dr. Maha manages the full spectrum of pregnancy and gynaecological care, including normal and high-risk pregnancies, vaginal and caesarean deliveries, early pregnancy loss, menstrual disorders, infertility, menopause, and family planning. She has special training in cosmetic gynaecology and is experienced in handling obstetric emergencies, postpartum complications, and managing pregnancies affected by endocrine disorders and diabetes.
