Dr. Serkan Dogan

Dr. Serkan Dogan is a gastroenterologist based at Emirates Hospitals Group in Dubai with extensive training across Turkey and the USA. He completed his medical degree at Ankara University, followed by internal medicine training at Hacettepe University and Acibadem Hospitals Group in Turkey. He then pursued specialist gastroenterology training at Erciyes University and undertook an approved fellowship in endoscopic ultrasonography at IECED in Ecuador. He also completed an elective rotation at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, gaining experience in liver transplantation and gastroenterology.

Dr. Dogan specialises in interventional endoscopy procedures including ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) and endoscopic ultrasonography. He manages a wide range of digestive conditions including liver diseases, pancreatic and biliary disorders, inflammatory bowel diseases, and gastric conditions. His expertise covers both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, allowing him to treat conditions like ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, peptic ulcers, and GERD (reflux) often without the need for surgery.
