Dr. Ann Mini Mathew

Dr. Ann Mini Mathew is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with 31 years of clinical experience, including 25 years in private and government hospitals across the UAE. She previously led the obstetrics and gynaecology department at a major private hospital in Dubai for 9 years. She completed her Masters degree in obstetrics and gynaecology from Government Medical College, Trivandrum, Kerala, India, and obtained her MRCOG qualification in 2000. She holds a fellowship in minimal access (keyhole) surgery.

Dr. Mathew specializes in managing high-risk pregnancies and performs a full range of gynaecological procedures using open, vaginal, and minimally invasive laparoscopic techniques. Her main areas of practice include treatment of ectopic pregnancies, fibroid removal, ovarian cyst management, hysterectomy (uterus removal), and endometriosis surgery. She is also skilled in hysteroscopic procedures (using a camera through the cervix) to treat fibroids and polyps inside the uterus.
