Dr. Silar Khan Mayana

Dr. Silar Khan is a Specialist Cardiologist with 4 years of clinical experience, currently practising at LLH Hospital in Abu Dhabi. He completed his medical degree (MBBS) at Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College in Karnataka, followed by postgraduate training in general medicine at J.J.M Medical College in Davanagere. He then pursued specialized training in cardiology, earning his DM (Cardiology) from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in Belagavi, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in interventional cardiology at Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences in Bengaluru.

Dr. Khan manages a broad spectrum of heart and circulatory conditions across all age groups. His expertise spans coronary artery disease, acute heart attacks, heart failure, irregular heartbeats (both fast and slow), congenital heart defects in children and adults, and rheumatic heart disease. He performs coronary angiograms and angioplasty (keyhole procedures to open blocked arteries), device implantation such as pacemakers and closure devices for heart defects, and provides imaging-based assessment of heart function. He also addresses related conditions including high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and pregnancy-related heart disease.
