Dr. Sona Rajan Mohana Rajan

Dr Sona Rajan is an experienced emergency medicine physician with 23 years of practice across India, the Maldives, and the Middle East. She has held key roles including Medical Officer at Hindu Rao Hospital in Delhi, Medical Officer in the Accident and Emergency Department at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital in the Maldives, and Resident Doctor positions at several major hospitals. She now practises at NMC Healthcare in Sharjah.

Dr Rajan manages a wide range of acute medical, surgical, pediatric and obstetric emergencies. She has expertise in critical care management, minor operating theatre procedures, assisting in major surgeries, and administering chemotherapy. She holds advanced certifications in cardiac life support (ACLS), pediatric life support (PALS), and professional CPR, alongside a postgraduate diploma in Emergency Medicine and membership exams (MRCEM Part A and Part B) from the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, UK.
