Dr. Syed Ali Raza

Dr. Syed Ali Raza is a Neonatal Consultant at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi, with over three decades of experience in paediatrics and neonatology. He works in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where he supervises and manages newborns with complex medical and surgical problems. Dr. Raza holds qualifications including an MBBS, BSc, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.

Dr. Raza specializes in neonatal medicine and has particular expertise in neonatal heart ultrasound (echocardiography) and head imaging. He works closely with the regional paediatric cardiology team to identify and stabilize newborns with congenital heart diseases, arranging transfer to specialist heart units when needed. He is highly skilled in performing neonatal echocardiograms and head scans, which are essential tools for diagnosing and managing conditions in critically ill newborns.
