Dr. Sofia Fakih

Dr Sofia Fakih is a specialist paediatrician at Medeor Hospital in Dubai with over 15 years of clinical experience caring for infants, children, and adolescents. She trained in Mumbai, earning her medical degree (MBBS) along with a Diploma in Child Health and a specialist qualification in Paediatrics (DNB). She completed a Fellowship in Neonatology and obtained a Postgraduate Degree in Paediatric Nutrition from Boston University School of Medicine. Her career spans leading hospitals including Saifee Hospital, SRCC Children's Hospital, and NDMC Medical College & Hindurao Hospital in Mumbai and Delhi.

Dr Fakih's practice covers a wide range of paediatric conditions, from managing infections like pneumonia, ear infections, and urinary tract infections to caring for newborns and preterm infants. She specializes in growth assessment and nutritional counseling, treatment of allergies and asthma, skin conditions like eczema, and breastfeeding support.
