Dr. Amer Iqbal

Dr. Amer Iqbal is a British-trained family medicine consultant who completed his medical degree at the University of Birmingham before pursuing postgraduate training in Leeds. He brings a wide clinical background built across both large teaching hospitals and community primary care settings, where he has developed expertise spanning paediatrics, acute medicine, geriatrics, and general surgery.

Dr. Iqbal is particularly skilled in managing gastroenterological and rheumatological conditions, men's health, and joint injections. He has worked with diverse patient populations and enjoys caring for children. Before joining Mediclinic, he was a specialist practitioner at an Outstanding-rated (CQC) practice in Leeds, where he gained experience in comprehensive family medicine and acute care.
