Dr. Fahad Afzal Malik

Dr. Fahad Afzal Malik is a Consultant Endocrinologist with over 8 years of specialist experience in endocrinology and metabolic disorders. He trained in the UK through the Health Education England (West Midlands Deanery) programme, obtaining formal certification (CCT) in both Endocrinology and Diabetes and Internal Medicine. He worked as a Specialist Registrar and then Consultant Endocrinologist across several NHS trusts, including 2 years at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, before relocating to the UAE to serve at Emirates Health Services in Fujairah. He now works at NMC Healthcare's WeightStyle Management Centre in Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Malik has broad experience managing the full spectrum of endocrine and metabolic conditions. During his training and consultant years in the UK, he actively participated in multidisciplinary teams covering metabolic bone disease, osteoporosis, obesity management, complex diabetes, diabetic foot complications, and cardio-renal (kidney-related) diabetes.
