Dr. Indira Durai

Dr. Indira Durai is a consultant radiologist with 14 years of experience in diagnostic imaging. She trained in India, completing her MBBS from K.A.P. Viswanatham Government Medical College in 2006, followed by an MD in Radio-Diagnosis from S.C.B. Medical College, Cuttack (2009–2012). She also holds a DNB in Radiology from the National Board of Examination, Delhi (2013), and has been a fellow of the Royal College of Radiology, United Kingdom since 2015. She now practices at NMC Healthcare in Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Indira is an academically oriented radiologist who has taught postgraduate students and published articles and case reports. She is particularly skilled in advanced MRI techniques including whole-body MRI, MR spectroscopy, MR angiography, MRCP, MR urography, and musculoskeletal MRI. Her CT expertise covers whole-body imaging, contrast-enhanced studies, CT angiography (including cerebral and peripheral), and high-resolution imaging of the chest and temporal bone. She also performs 2D, 3D and 4D ultrasound, with specialist knowledge of antenatal scanning, sono-mammography, and transvaginal ultrasound.

Her main areas of interest and expertise are women's imaging and neuroradiology. She is a good choice if you need detailed imaging for gynaecological or breast conditions, antenatal ultrasound, or advanced neuroimaging studies.
