Dr. Aysha Al Kaabi

Dr. Aysha Al Kaabi is Chair of the General Paediatrics Division at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi, bringing 17 years of clinical experience in paediatric care. She is a graduate of the United Arab Emirates University and holds specialist qualifications from the Arab Board for Medical Specializations and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. She completed a Sh. Shamsa/Yale University Fellowship in Early Childhood Development in 2015.

Dr. Al Kaabi specialises in general paediatric care and early childhood development assessment. She has particular expertise in identifying and supporting children with developmental delays, using the Bayley developmental assessment tool as part of her clinical work. Throughout her career, she has held significant leadership positions, serving as Chief of the General Paediatric Division and Director of the Paediatric Residency Programme at Tawam Hospital, where she also chaired the Department of Paediatrics and the Academic Affairs committee.

She is an active contributor to paediatric education and research, serving as an examiner for both the Arab Board and the UAE's National Institute of Health Sciences Paediatric Board.
