Dr. Aruna Godwin

Dr. Aruna Godwin is a Senior Specialist in General Anesthesia at Dubai Health, where she has worked since 2009. She completed her medical degree at Kasturba Medical College of Mangalore, India, and went on to earn a Fellowship in Regional Anesthesia and Analgesia from Université de Montpellier, France in 2011. With over two decades of clinical experience, including nine years at Kuwait Hospital Sharjah before joining Dubai Health, she brings extensive expertise in anesthetic management across diverse surgical settings.

Dr. Godwin specializes in regional anesthesia techniques, which offer patients targeted pain relief and reduced reliance on general anesthesia alone. Her clinical interests include managing anesthesia for complex surgical procedures, particularly those requiring specialized pain control strategies. She has contributed to the medical literature on advanced techniques for preventing complications during major vascular surgery.
