Dr. Laura Centa

Laura is a British physiotherapist who graduated from the University of Brighton in 2008 with a degree in physiotherapy. She began her career with the UK's National Health Service, where she spent six years working in and around London across a range of specialist areas including musculoskeletal outpatients, orthopaedics, paediatric care, neurological rehabilitation, and respiratory conditions including intensive care.

Since moving to Dubai in 2014, Laura has worked at Mediclinic, focusing on musculoskeletal physiotherapy and movement-based rehabilitation. She treats common conditions such as joint pain, sports injuries, post-operative recovery, and movement dysfunction. Her approach combines hands-on manual therapy techniques with targeted exercise programmes, including clinical pilates.

Throughout her career, Laura has consistently expanded her skills through specialist courses in deep dry needling, manual trigger point release, orthopaedic manual therapy, neurodynamics, and rehabilitation for runners.
