About Dr. Feras Bassam Orabi
Dr. Feras Bassam Orabi is a Specialist Cardiologist with 13 years of clinical experience. He obtained his MD from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Aleppo in Syria, where he also completed specialist training in cardiovascular medicine and earned certification from the Syrian Board of Cardiovascular Medicine. He began his career as a Cardiology Resident at University of Aleppo General Hospital, then worked in private practice in Syria before relocating to the Middle East, where he served as a Specialist Cardiologist and Medical Director at Starcare Medical Center in Oman, and later as a Specialist Cardiologist at Aster Clinics in the UAE.
Dr. Orabi has extensive expertise in diagnosing and managing heart conditions including coronary artery disease, heart failure, irregular heartbeats (arrhythmias and atrial fibrillation), valve disease, cardiomyopathies, high blood pressure in the lungs (pulmonary hypertension), fainting episodes, and abnormal cholesterol levels. He is particularly skilled in non-invasive diagnostic methods such as echocardiograms (heart ultrasound), treadmill stress tests, 24-hour ECG monitoring (Holter monitoring), ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, and CT coronary angiograms.
