Dr. Saher Arour

Dr. Saher Arour is a vascular surgeon with extensive experience across university hospitals in Germany and the UAE. He holds an MD and Master of Science in General Surgery from the University Hospital of Damascus, and is certified by the German Society for Cardiology (DGk) and the German Society of Wound Therapy (DGfW). He currently practices as a Consultant Vascular Surgeon at Canadian Specialist Hospital in Dubai.

Dr. Arour has led vascular surgery departments and established specialized teams to treat complex vascular conditions. He performs minimally invasive keyhole techniques for varicose veins using laser, radiofrequency, medical glue, and sclerotherapy. His surgical expertise covers a wide range of procedures: creating vascular access for kidney dialysis patients, treating carotid artery disease and aortic aneurysms via catheter-based and open surgery, managing diabetic foot ulcers, treating blood clots in leg veins and lungs, repairing traumatic blood vessel injuries, and implanting heart pacemakers and defibrillators.

He is fluent in Arabic, English, and German, and holds memberships with the German Society for Vascular Surgery, the European Society for Vascular Surgery, and the Emirates Society for Vascular Surgery.
