Dr. Usha Kiran

Dr. Usha Kiran is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Burjeel Hospital for Advanced Surgery in Dubai, where she has served since 2016. With 27 years of clinical experience, she is a UK-certified specialist and member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the British Society for Gynecological Endoscopy. She graduated as a rank holder from Mysore University and earned her FCPS with a Gold Medal from Mumbai University.

Dr. Kiran is renowned for pioneering minimally invasive gynecologic surgery in the UAE. She specializes in advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures, and is the first consultant in the region to introduce scarless vNOTES (vaginal natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery) for uterus removal—a technique she has now performed more frequently than any other surgeon in the area.
