Dr. Priyamvada Tripathi

Dr. Priyamvada Tripathi is a UK-trained consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 20 years' experience in the UK's National Health Service. She completed her medical degree in India and moved to the UK for specialist training, obtaining her MRCOG in 2008 and later her FRCOG in 2023. She spent 12 years as a consultant at London North-West University Hospitals NHS Trust, one of London's busiest maternity units, and also worked at The Portland Hospital, the UK's largest private maternity hospital. She has served as an honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer and Senior Tutor at Imperial College London, with a strong background in teaching, training and research.

Dr. Tripathi provides comprehensive pregnancy care covering normal and high-risk pregnancies, pregnancy ultrasound, and specialist management of twin pregnancies, gestational diabetes, high blood pressure in pregnancy, and previous caesarean sections. She also manages gynaecological conditions including irregular or heavy periods, endometriosis, fibroids, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), pelvic infections and chronic pelvic pain, as well as infertility consultation, pre-pregnancy counselling, and menopause support.

She practises shared decision-making and patient-centred care, with particular expertise in fetal and maternal medicine. Her approach emphasises effective communication and involving patients in treatment planning.
