Dr. Caoimhe Hoey

Caoimhe is a specialist in podiatric sports medicine with expertise in treating foot and ankle injuries, gait analysis and custom foot orthoses. She graduated from the National University of Ireland, Galway with a Bachelor's degree in Podiatry, then became one of a small number of podiatrists to complete a Master's in Sports and Exercise Medicine from Queen Mary University of London.

She has extensive experience in sports and orthopaedic settings, having previously worked with a consultant surgeon where she treated patients and assisted in theatre, including surgical wound closure, dressing and casting. Her clinical work spans gait and biomechanical analysis, footwear assessment and paediatric foot and ankle care. She has worked with elite athletes including the Men's Irish national soccer team, international triathletes and multiple GAA teams in Ireland.

Caoimhe's focus is on helping athletes and active individuals understand and resolve foot and lower-limb problems through tailored orthoses, biomechanical correction and injury prevention.
