Dr. Sangeeta Pathak

Dr. Sangeeta Pathak is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 25 years of clinical experience. She began her training at one of Zambia's busiest tertiary hospitals before completing specialist training within the UK's NHS. With more than 20 years of practice in the UK, most recently as a consultant at Cambridge, she has developed particular expertise in obstetric ultrasound, fetal medicine, and managing complex labour ward cases.

Dr. Pathak provides comprehensive maternity care across the full pregnancy journey: routine antenatal checks, normal vaginal delivery, caesarean sections (simple and complex), and postnatal support. She has a special focus on high-risk pregnancies, including women with underlying medical conditions, those at risk of preterm birth, and pregnancies carrying twins or breech babies. She performs cervical cerclage (a stitch to prevent early labour), external cephalic version (turning a breech baby), and detailed ultrasound scans throughout pregnancy. She also offers general gynaecological care and women's health screening.

Dr. Pathak has led research teams at Cambridge and presented findings at national and international conferences. She believes strongly in supporting women to understand their options and make informed decisions about their care, working with families to build personalised pregnancy plans.
