Dr. Sima Bijani

Dr. Sima Bijani is a Specialist in Emergency Medicine at Iranian Hospital Dubai, bringing 20 years of clinical experience to emergency and trauma care. She completed her medical degree at Tehran Islamic Azad Medical University (1997–2004) and her Emergency Medicine specialty training at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (2014–2017). She also completed an Accident and Emergency Care attachment course at Guy's St. Thomas' NHS Foundation in London. Her career spans multiple hospitals in Iran, where she worked as a medical doctor at Shahid Bahonar Hospital in Karaj and Bu-Ali Hospital in Tehran (2005–2014), and later headed the Emergency Medicine Department at Jam Hospital Tehran (2019–2022). She has practised as an emergency medicine specialist in the UAE since 2022.

Dr. Bijani specialises in trauma management, resuscitation, acute cardiac care, critical care emergencies, and accident and injury management. She holds certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association and ATLS certification from the American College of Surgeons. She brings a patient-centred approach to emergency care and has published research and presented at medical conferences, including work on antibiotic resistance in infectious gastroenteritis and difficult peripheral venous access assessment.
