About Dr. Fidal
Dr. Ehab Yacoub Fidal is a Consultant Anaesthesiologist at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi with 25 years of clinical experience in anesthesia and intensive care medicine. He graduated from Assiut University in Egypt in 1995 and completed his residency in anesthesia there at one of Egypt's largest teaching hospitals. He holds a Master's Degree in Anaesthesia and has spent the last 20 years practicing in the UAE, where he has developed extensive expertise across general and regional anesthesia, as well as managing complex cases in the intensive care unit.
Dr. Fidal's clinical focus is on high-risk pregnancy management, emergency obstetric anesthesia, epidural pain relief, and pediatric anesthesia. Before joining Mediclinic, he worked at Kanad Hospital in Al Ain, a facility specializing in obstetrics and pediatrics with approximately 4000 deliveries annually, where he gained substantial experience managing complex obstetric emergencies and caring for children undergoing anesthesia.
He is fluent in both English and Arabic. Dr. Fidal is well-suited for patients requiring specialist anesthesia care during pregnancy, emergency obstetric procedures, or pediatric surgery, as well as those needing intensive care management.
