Dr. Petar Otasevic

Dr. Petar Otasevic is an experienced interventional and non-interventional cardiologist with over 20 years in the field. He graduated from Belgrade University School of Medicine, where he completed all his medical degrees, and holds a professorship there. Before joining Mediclinic Dubai, he worked at a major tertiary cardiovascular care centre, giving him deep expertise in complex heart conditions.

Dr. Otasevic treats coronary artery disease, heart failure, high blood pressure, valve problems, irregular heartbeats, and atrial fibrillation. He performs both catheter-based interventions (such as angiography and stent placement) and non-invasive assessments, and he focuses on prevention strategies to reduce heart disease risk. He has published over 70 peer-reviewed papers, reflecting his active involvement in advancing cardiology practice.
