Dr. Catalin Stefan Dragulescu

Dr. Catalin Stefan Dragulescu is a German Board-certified orthopedic surgeon with more than 25 years of clinical experience across orthopedic surgery, trauma, and sports medicine. He completed his medical degree at the University of Bucharest, Romania in 1990, followed by comprehensive residency training in general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and trauma in Germany. His career includes significant leadership roles, most notably as Head of the Orthopedic Department and Joint Replacement Center at Marienhospital Soest in North Rhine-Westphalia, where he worked for over 15 years.

Dr. Dragulescu specializes in knee and hip joint replacement surgery, with particular expertise in customized joint replacement using 3D CT planning—a technique he pioneered in the Gulf Cooperation Council region in 2018. He performs arthroscopic (keyhole) procedures on the knee and shoulder, including meniscal repair, ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) reconstruction, and patella realignment.
