Dr. Ithar Alkheder

Dr. Ithar is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over 13 years of clinical experience across the UAE and Syria. He trained at Aleppo University and holds a Master's degree in Ophthalmology alongside specialist board certification from the Syrian Board Authority since 2011. His additional qualifications include a Diploma in Paediatric Optometry from Isabel University in Spain and focused training in medical retina at Aleppo Eye Surgery Hospital.

Dr. Ithar manages a broad range of eye conditions affecting both the front and back of the eye. He treats anterior segment disorders including dry eye, corneal ulcers, cataracts, pterygium and chalazion, as well as posterior segment conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, uveitis and glaucoma. He also specialises in lacrimal (tear duct) disorders and provides vision assessment and treatment for adults and children.
