Dr. Murtaza Najmi

Dr. Murtaza Najmi is an ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialist at King's College Hospital London (Dubai), with over 7 years of clinical and surgical experience in the UAE. He completed his Master's degree in Otolaryngology from Gandhi Medical College, Barkatullah University, India, in 2009, where he was awarded a Gold Medal. He has worked as a Clinical Associate and Specialist at American Hospital Dubai for the last 5 years, gaining intensive training in both general and complex ENT cases.

Dr. Najmi treats a wide range of ear, nose and throat conditions in both adults and children, using fibre-optic endoscopic procedures for diagnosis and management. His main areas of expertise include nasal allergies, sinus problems, hearing and balance disorders, laryngeal (voice box) issues, sleep apnoea, and recurrent infections of the ears, tonsils and adenoids. He performs common ENT surgeries including tonsil removal, adenoid removal, grommet insertions (ear tubes), Eustachian tube balloon dilation, and nasal septum straightening (septoplasty).

Beyond general ENT care, Dr. Najmi holds GCAA (General Civil Aviation Authority) approval as an aviation medicine specialist. He is certified to conduct medical examinations and provide treatment for aircrew including pilots, air traffic controllers and cabin crew. He also leads as Program Director for one of the Middle East's largest ENT conferences and training workshops, reflecting his commitment to advancing the field.
