Dr. Dana Haddad

Dr. Dana Haddad is a consultant breast and interventional radiologist with over a decade of international experience in breast imaging and cancer diagnosis. She trained at leading institutions including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre in New York for her fellowship, Columbia University–Affiliated Harlem Hospital Centre for diagnostic radiology, and Mayo Clinic for general surgery. She holds both an MD from the University of Auckland and a PhD in Cancer Biology and Imaging from the University of Würzburg, Germany, and is American Board-Certified in Radiology.

Dr. Haddad's clinical work spans multimodality breast imaging—including mammography, digital breast tomosynthesis (3D mammography), ultrasound, MRI, and contrast-enhanced mammography—as well as minimally invasive image-guided biopsies (ultrasound-guided, stereotactic, and MRI-guided). She has led significant academic and research roles in the United States as an Assistant Professor and attending radiologist at Montefiore Medical Centre and Northwell Health in New York, where she was involved in clinical practice, teaching, translational cancer research, and developing new imaging strategies.

Since moving to Dubai, Dr. Haddad has held senior leadership positions including Head of Breast Imaging and Deputy Chief of the Breast Cancer Centre, driving the development of comprehensive breast imaging programs and multidisciplinary cancer care across the region. She is actively involved in clinical research, physician education, and training initiatives, with particular focus on personalized breast cancer screening, advanced biopsy techniques, and artificial intelligence integration in breast imaging. She is committed to early detection and improving women's health through evidence-based screening and patient education.
