Dr. Sufian Ghdifan

Dr. Sufian Ghdifan is a French-trained pediatric pulmonologist and allergist with over 16 years of experience treating respiratory and allergic conditions in children. He earned his medical degree from Damascus University in 1999 and completed specialist training in general pediatrics, pediatric pulmonology, and allergy in France, where he is fully licensed and registered with the French National Medical Council. He now serves as a consultant at leading hospitals in both France and the UAE, including as Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Sharjah since 2023.

Dr. Ghdifan specializes in managing asthma, chronic cough, recurrent respiratory infections, allergic rhinitis, eczema, and food and drug allergies in children. He has particular expertise in pediatric allergy testing, allergen immunotherapy (desensitization), difficult-to-treat and severe asthma, lung function testing, and flexible bronchoscopy. He also manages complex cases including congenital lung malformations, sleep-related breathing disorders, and respiratory problems in children with neuromuscular conditions.
