Dr. Anuj Mathur is a Specialist Microbiologist at Zulekha Hospital, Sharjah, with MBBS and MD (Microbiology) qualifications plus an MBA in Healthcare Management. Over 19 years, he has built expertise across clinical microbiology, bacteriology, medical mycology, HIV medicine, and infection prevention. He began his career at S.M.S. Medical College in Jaipur (2000–2010), where he taught medical students and managed the clinical microbiology laboratory, then moved to Gulf Medical University as Assistant Professor (2010–2014) and later worked as a Specialist Microbiologist at P.H. Diagnostics, Dubai (2015–2019).

Dr. Mathur's clinical work covers bacterial and fungal infections, HIV/AIDS diagnosis and management, antimicrobial stewardship, and laboratory protocols for infection control. He has published extensively on infectious diseases—including blood culture profiles, HIV epidemiology, antibiotic resistance in hospital-acquired infections, and asymptomatic bacteriuria—contributing to peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. His research spans from regional HIV prevalence studies to antimicrobial susceptibility testing.
