Dr. Eyad Hameidi

Dr. Eyad Hameidi is an Anaesthesia Specialist at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi, bringing over 15 years of clinical experience in anaesthesia and critical care. He completed his medical degree (M.B.B.Ch.) at Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2005, followed by specialist training in anaesthesia at the same institution. He holds the Jordanian Board in Anaesthesia and the European Diploma in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care (EDAIC), recognised across Europe.

Dr. Hameidi has worked across a wide range of surgical specialties, including general, ENT, plastic, paediatric, neurosurgery, orthopaedic, obstetric, gynaecologic, and thoracic procedures. His expertise covers general anaesthesia for surgery, regional and spinal anaesthesia techniques, airway management, critical care and intensive care medicine, and post-operative pain control. He has particular experience managing high-risk and complex surgical cases.

Before joining Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in 2025, Dr. Hameidi spent 11 years as an Anaesthesia Specialist at Mediclinic Al Noor Hospital in Abu Dhabi, and earlier worked as an ICU Registrar in Saudi Arabia and trained across multiple departments in Jordan. He is well suited for patients requiring specialist anaesthetic care for complex or high-risk surgery.
