Dr. Haluk Alibazoglu

Dr. Haluk Alibazoglu is a Staff Physician in the Nuclear Medicine Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Diagnostics Institute. He holds dual American Board certifications in Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology, and brings over three decades of clinical experience to the region. Before joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, he founded and owned CardioCheck, the world's first Joint Commission International (JCI) accredited imaging center, where he performed more than 50,000 myocardial perfusion imaging studies.

Dr. Alibazoglu specializes in cardiac imaging using advanced nuclear medicine techniques, including myocardial perfusion imaging, PET/CT scans, and molecular imaging. He earned his MD from Hacettepe University in Turkey and completed diagnostic radiology residency there, followed by nuclear medicine training at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago. He also holds a PhD in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Carnegie Mellon University and was among the earliest to publish findings on FDG PET imaging.
