Dr. Ravi Arora

Dr Ravi Arora is a Consultant in Internal Medicine with 27 years of clinical experience, based at NMC Healthcare in Abu Dhabi. He trained at prestigious institutions in India—earning his MBBS with a Gold Medal from PGIMS-Rohtak and his MD in Internal Medicine as top performer from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore—before obtaining specialist qualifications in diabetes and endocrinology from the UK. He holds a Specialty Certificate in Endocrinology and Diabetes recognized by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom.

Dr Arora's clinical focus spans all forms of diabetes (type 1, type 1.5, type 2, and gestational), thyroid and parathyroid disorders, polycystic ovarian syndrome, osteoporosis, pituitary and adrenal conditions, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and blood-clotting disorders. He is known for a patient-centered approach and has offered personalized education and round-the-clock support to diabetic patients since 2012 through email and WhatsApp, achieving strong clinical outcomes. He has pioneered the introduction of a Vascular Lab and Continuous Glucose Monitoring System within the endocrine department.

As Clinical Lead and Academic Faculty, Dr Arora mentors junior physicians and leads quality-improvement initiatives across interdisciplinary teams. He has been a designated medical examiner for the General Medical Council (UK) since 2017 and is an active member of major medical organizations including the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology, American Diabetes Association, and American Heart Association.
