Dr. Nicola Sellar

Nicola is a British paediatric physiotherapist with over 15 years of clinical experience. She qualified with a BSc in Sport & Exercise Science and an MSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Essex in 2007, then worked in the UK NHS and private practice for more than five years before relocating to Dubai in 2013, where she has practised full-time ever since.

She works with children across all areas of paediatric physiotherapy, including inpatient and outpatient settings. Her breadth of experience spans musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions, developmental delay, respiratory problems, and neurological disorders. Nicola has focused specialist training in paediatric musculoskeletal physiotherapy and scoliosis management, and holds certification as a Schroth therapist—a specialised approach to treating curved spine.

Nicola is well-suited for families seeking physiotherapy for children with orthopaedic injuries, postural concerns such as scoliosis, developmental delays, or sports-related injuries. She is registered with the UK Health and Care Professions Council and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, and holds membership of the Emirates Medical Association and Emirates Physiotherapy Society.
