Dr. Aliaa Mohamad Ali Maaty

Dr. Aliaa Mohamad Ali Maaty is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Medcare Medical Centre in Dubai. She holds a PhD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Ain Shams University in Cairo, where she also completed her medical degree and Master's qualification. She brings nearly two decades of clinical and academic experience, having served as an Associate Professor and Consultant at Ain Shams University Maternity Hospital before relocating to the UAE, where she worked as a Consultant at Zulekha Hospital in Sharjah.

Dr. Maaty's practice covers the full spectrum of women's health, from family planning through to complex obstetric care. She manages low and high-risk pregnancies, performs vaginal deliveries including assisted deliveries and vaginal birth after Caesarean section (VBAC), and handles breech presentations. She is experienced in advanced gynaecological surgery and treats hormonal disorders including polycystic ovary syndrome, irregular periods, and menopausal conditions, as well as pelvic floor problems and vaginal infections. She also provides pre-conception, pre-natal and pre-marital counselling, infertility assessment, and postpartum care.

Dr. Maaty is a member of the Placenta Accreta Spectrum team at Ain Shams University Maternity Hospital, reflecting her expertise in managing complex pregnancies. She has published scientific papers in international journals and is fluent in both Arabic and English.
