Dr. Divyatha Jayaram

Dr. Divyatha Jayaram is Head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Burjeel Abu Dhabi, bringing 19 years of clinical experience in women's health. She completed her MBBS in India, pursued postgraduate training in Mumbai, and earned advanced fellowships in gynecological endoscopy from institutions in India and Germany. Before joining Burjeel in 2018, she worked as a consultant at a 200-bed government hospital in India and later at a JCI-accredited hospital in Dubai.

Dr. Jayaram specializes in managing high-risk pregnancies and complex gynecological conditions including fibroids, ovarian cysts, ectopic pregnancies, endometriosis, and other intrauterine problems. She is skilled in laparoscopic (keyhole) and hysteroscopic surgery, and performs advanced vaginal procedures that avoid large incisions. She also offers cancer screening and cosmetic gynecological procedures. Her approach emphasizes minimally invasive techniques whenever possible, reducing recovery time and scarring.
