Dr. Aspasia Michalopoulou

Dr. Aspasia Michalopoulou is an Italian board-certified obstetrician and gynaecologist with 35 years of experience in women's health. She obtained her postgraduate degree in obstetrics and gynaecology with honours from the University of Naples, Italy, where she worked from 1995 to 2009. During her time in Italy, she headed two private clinics and was nominated by the Italian government (Campania Region) as the sole specialist responsible for women's health and caesarean section reduction implementation across four hospitals and seven healthcare departments. Her clinical expertise includes maternal diabetes genetics, AIDS research, and high-risk pregnancy management.

Since relocating to Dubai in 2009, Dr. Michalopoulou has worked in various leading healthcare facilities, including Mediclinic Middle East and DHCC, before joining Medicentres 11 years ago. She provides comprehensive women's healthcare services including routine gynaecological check-ups, diagnostic ultrasound (transvaginal, pelvic, breast and fetal), colposcopy and cervical abnormality treatment, menopause management, infertility evaluation and treatment, and minimally invasive procedures.
