Dr Richard Jones is a British GP and family medicine consultant who qualified from Cardiff University in 2000. He trained within the UK NHS and military before relocating to Dubai in 2011, where he worked as a GP and aeronautical medical examiner for Emirates. He joined Mediclinic Dubai in 2019 and continues to provide comprehensive primary care to the community.
Dr Jones manages the full spectrum of family medicine, from acute illnesses to chronic disease management. His clinical interests include vaccination and travel medicine, male and female health screening, sports medicine, and musculoskeletal injuries. He takes a preventive approach to healthcare and is comfortable managing mental health concerns within primary care.
