Dr. Mustafa Karoud

Dr. Mustafa Karoud is a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon at American Hospital Dubai with a German Board Certificate in Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery. He completed his medical degree (M.B.B.Ch) in Tripoli, Libya, and subsequently pursued advanced orthopedic and trauma training in Germany, where he developed extensive expertise across multiple leading hospitals.

During his career in Germany, Dr. Karoud held senior positions including consultant roles, team leadership, and directorship of orthopedic trauma, arthroscopy, and joint replacement departments. His clinical practice encompasses trauma management, arthroscopic procedures (keyhole surgery), joint replacement surgery, and complex orthopedic reconstruction. He brings both academic experience as an Assistant Professor and hands-on clinical expertise from well-established German hospitals and his current practice in Dubai.

Dr. Karoud is fluent in English and Arabic, enabling him to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations. His international training background and leadership experience make him well-suited for patients requiring complex orthopedic care, particularly those with trauma injuries, joint problems, or reconstructive needs.
