Dr. Hussein Khalid Mamdooh

Dr. Hussein Khalid Mamdooh is a medical graduate and general practitioner currently practising at Medeor Hospital in Abu Dhabi. He completed his medical degree at the National University of Science and Technology in Oman (2017–2023), graduating with a GPA of 3.5 and earning a place on the Dean's List. During his studies, he served as a medical school leader and later as Pediatric Chief Intern, developing leadership and teamwork skills alongside his clinical training.

Dr. Hussein completed a full internship year (August 2023–July 2024) at multiple institutions in Oman and the UAE, rotating through internal medicine, pediatrics, acute care, general surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, and colorectal and oncology surgery. This diverse exposure gave him experience in conditions ranging from heart disease and lung problems to gastrointestinal and orthopedic issues. He has also undertaken clinical attachments at Medeor Hospital and Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi, building expertise in emergency care and internal medicine across different healthcare settings.

Dr. Hussein has passed multiple international licensing exams (OMSB Prometric, IFOM, EMREE, UK-MLA PLAB Part 1) and holds Department of Health (DOH) licensure in Abu Dhabi. He is fluent in Arabic and English, holds certifications in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and has an active interest in clinical research with several published meta-analyses in hypothyroidism, gastrointestinal surgery, and orthopedic injuries.
