Dr. Jessy Mouhayar

Dr. Jessy Mouhayar is a neonatologist at Mediclinic Dubai with eight years of experience in the United Arab Emirates. She completed her medical degree from Lebanese University School of Medicine in 2008, followed by a four-year pediatrics residency and three-year neonatology fellowship at the American University of Beirut Medical Center. She brings extensive expertise in caring for vulnerable newborns, from routine care to complex cases.

Dr. Jessy manages the full spectrum of neonatal conditions: respiratory distress, infections (sepsis), congenital malformations, and extreme prematurity. She is experienced in mechanical ventilation including high-frequency oscillatory ventilation, nutritional management, and postoperative care of newborns following surgery. She attends high-risk deliveries and performs newborn resuscitation. Her particular strengths include care of late preterm infants, extremely premature babies with very low birth weight, congenital diaphragmatic hernia, meconium aspiration, and pulmonary hypertension.

Beyond clinical care, Dr. Jessy provides counselling and anticipatory guidance to parents expecting high-risk deliveries and addresses developmental concerns and feeding difficulties. She also maintains broad general pediatrics knowledge, including well-child visits, immunizations, adolescent medicine, and infectious diseases.
