Dr. Mohamed Shiras Povval Thayath

Dr. Mohamed Shiras Povval Thayath is a consultant paediatrician with 15 years of clinical experience. He completed eight years of specialist paediatric training in the UK and holds membership and fellowship credentials (MRCPCH and FRCPCH) from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, along with a Certificate of Completion of Training in Paediatrics. Before relocating to Dubai in 2019, he worked across multiple UK centres including London, Cambridge, Leicester, Birmingham, Coventry, Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, and Great Yarmouth.

Dr. Shiras offers comprehensive general paediatric care alongside specialist clinics. His training spans general paediatrics, community paediatrics, neonatology (newborn care), paediatric cardiology, developmental disorders, and both intensive care units for children (PICU) and neonatal units (NICU). He assesses and manages acute and chronic childhood illnesses, developmental delay, behavioural concerns, autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), speech and language delays, learning difficulties, seizures and fainting episodes, neurodevelopmental disabilities including cerebral palsy, recurrent infections, poor growth, feeding problems, and functional issues such as bedwetting and constipation.
