Dr. Khalid Alawadi

Dr. Khalid Alawadi is a plastic surgeon with nearly 24 years of experience in surgery and plastic surgery. He holds German Board certification in Plastic Surgery and board certifications from the European Board of Plastic Surgery (EBOPRAS) and the Federation of European Societies for Surgery of the Hand (FESSH). He is Chair of the Department of Surgery and leads the Hand & Reconstructive Microsurgery unit at Rashid Hospital Trauma Center, part of Dubai Health, where he has worked since 2013.

Dr. Alawadi specializes in hand surgery and reconstructive microsurgery, including treatment of complex hand injuries, fractures, and conditions requiring microsurgical repair. His work spans emergency trauma management, finger and hand reconstruction, and specialized techniques such as intramedullary fixation of hand fractures and vein-graft alternatives for arterial repair in severe amputations.

He is President of the Emirates Hand Surgery Society and a past Vice President of the Emirates Plastic Surgery Society, with membership in numerous international surgical organizations.
