Dr. Rami Almadi

Dr. Rami Almadi is an American-trained pulmonary consultant with over 15 years of combined experience in pulmonology, internal medicine, and emergency medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York City, where he then worked as an emergency department attending physician in one of the busiest emergency departments in the US. He subsequently pursued and completed his pulmonary fellowship training affiliated with Boston University School of Medicine, and held consultant positions at teaching hospitals affiliated with Brown University in Rhode Island and a major healthcare provider in southwest Florida.

Dr. Almadi is skilled in diagnostic bronchoscopies and endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) biopsies for diagnosing and staging lung cancer. He manages a broad range of respiratory conditions including chronic obstructive lung disease (COPD), asthma, interstitial lung disease and pulmonary fibrosis, chronic respiratory failure, oxygen dependency, and obstructive sleep apnea. He has contributed to clinical research at Temple University examining cellular processes in COPD.

Dr. Almadi is well-suited for patients requiring specialist lung care, particularly those with complex or serious lung conditions. He brings emergency medicine training to his pulmonology practice, offering a broad perspective on acute and chronic respiratory problems.
