Dr. Kini Girish Kuntadi

Dr. Girish Kini is a periodontist (gum specialist) with 29 years of clinical and teaching experience. He earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from CODS Manipal, India in 1992, followed by a Master's degree in Periodontics and Implantology from the same institution in 1996. Before moving to the UAE, he taught undergraduate dentistry at several dental colleges in India and worked as a specialist periodontist in private clinics.

Since joining NMC Specialty Hospital in Abu Dhabi in 2000, Dr. Girish has focused on dental implants and soft-tissue surgery. He performs aesthetic gum procedures such as root coverage and graft surgery to improve the appearance and health of the gumline, as well as minor surgical procedures including frenectomy (frenum removal), gingivectomy (gum reshaping), incision and drainage, and periodontal flap surgery (deep gum cleaning and reshaping).
